Winter day at the park

We have had such a mild winter this year. It is quite a blessing after the past two snow-filled winters. We've had hardly any snow at all this year, and when it did fall, it never stayed more than a day! The downside to this is that Miles didn't get to test out his new sled he got for Christmas...there is always next year.

The past few weeks we have seen the sun quite a bit. Though it hasn't been exactly warm, it has been nice out. Miles has been asking to go to "play park" (a Dora reference this time!). The other afternoon, on March 1, we went to the park. He had a grand time!

Child Photography

Recently, Miles has taken an interest in photography. I think this interest comes from Diego. Miles is a fan of the "Click the Camera" segments of the show. The other day, Miles got a hold of my camera (whoops) and was clicking away (at least one of us has been taking pictures recently!). I was in the other room when I heard him saying "Click-it! Click-it!"

Here's what he produced (along with some fingerprints on my lens):

And a few self portraits for your enjoyment!

I have since given him my very first digital camera that I got many many years ago. It is a Fujifilm Finepix 2650 with 3x optical zoom and 2.0 mega pixels! It has a 1x1.5inch screen.
It's a pretty bulky little thing considering what my Cannon Powershot Digital Elph is like!

Miles runs it through its AA batteries like none other. Maybe I'll get some of those pictures on here somehow. He runs around with it yelling "Click the camera! Take a pic. Say, Click-it!" and waits for you to reply "click it", before he'll take a pic.

Hopefully some pictures from our afternoon at the park will follow soon.

MIA

So, I've been MIA for longer than I care to figure out. Not sure why... Part of it is that my computer has not been getting along with Photoshop and likes to freeze while using it, therefore making photo editing a very frustrating process!

I promise some new posts, and pictures (if I've taken any in the last few months), very soon.
