Park Play and Ice Cream

On Tuesday, we had grand plans to take a ferry ride.  Between the longish drive, need to take two cars, a ferry schedule that didn't meet our needs, and some rain, we nixed that plan!  Instead, we had a relaxing day starting out at Barnes and Noble (one without a train table!!!) and some coffee.  Auntie Annie met us there and we headed out to go to a park.a

Notice Miles with his big boy shoes.  We got him new shoes at the outlet malls and he LOVES his new "running shoes"!

Isla is still pretty cautious at the park, but has fun playing.

They both love swinging!

Miles found all these sticks and built this bird feeder/home.  The green on the top was the food :).

We ate a late lunch at a local Mexican place and were full the rest of the day.  We headed back to the hotel for a little r and r.  That evening, we met up with Auntie Annie again for some ice cream at Mallard.  I had a maple walnut flavor...it was devine!

Isla liked her super vanilla :).

Miles enjoyed his cookies and cream.

After heading back to the hotel, the kids had a bath (as they did most nights this vacation).  Isla always loves her post bath snuggles.
